Faccia Brutto Centerbe Liqueur

Item # 45483 750 mL

Made from twenty botanicals, all either herbs, leaves or seeds, half fresh and half dried - this is Bruto's take on a classic Italian bittersweet elixir, somewhere in-between Chartreuse and Genepy. The medicinal notes are balanced with the freshness of the ingredients, like walking through the clear alpine mountains. Available in limited quantities.

We now live in a world where acquiring a bottle of Green Chartreuse is uncertain. Raising prices because of supply and demand will make the general public look for alternatives to the magical, green elixir that adds an herbaceous, potent punch to the classic cocktails that we have learned to love. Fret not! Faccia Bruto, a local Brooklyn company, makes this wonderfully, green and fresh liqueur at a much more manageable proof and price. Dried botanicals like lemon balm, anise hyssop, nettles and coriander are macerated for a full week, while the fresh herbs like parsley, tarragon, bay leaves and marjoram are left overnight to preserve color and freshness. The spirit is then lightly sweetened with organic, cane sugar. Absolutely wonderful in your Last Word and Bijou cocktails!
