Savennières "Jalousie", Dom. du Closel - 2021

Item # 17117 750 mL

Staff Pick Notes

Domaine Du Closel offers this youthful Chenin Blanc cuvée, made in a more modern, approachable style. Organic grapes are harvested early to retain crisp acidity, then rested on the lees for 9 months, protected from oxygen. The result is an energized and complex wine, with fresh fruit notes of quince, peach and citrus peel, honeysuckle and beeswax, balanced by schisty-minerality. Fermentation and élevage in oak brings another layer of thoughtfulness to this wine lover’s favourite.
