This is the kind of rare magic that looks simple on the surface but has profound depths that only places like Mexico can still conjure. Made by a self-taught obsessive maverick Gerardo “Lobo” Peña - crafted from a local heirloom cane growing in his own backyard and the very unique use of local sweet corn in the fermentation - the natural production and custom distillation on his original pot stills make for a very rare rum that is sweet, funky and slightly smoky all at once. Notes of green banana, pineapple, licorice, cultured butter, smoked salt and mouth watering minerals are just some of the notes that will ensure you never forget this spirit. Only 200 liters produced and according to Lobo, it will be his final batch. Do not miss it!
