Staff Pick Notes

"Is it dry?" is the most commonly asked question about wine in general and Rosé in particular. So yes, this wine is dry, and it's crisp and refreshing, and it has a screw cap, and the price is pretty nice. What more do you need to know? The IGP Pays du Gard, the French Department of Gard, is situated between the Languedoc, Provence, and Rhône Valley wine regions. While it draws from these better-known areas, it is not part of either. Here the Mediterranean climate predominates and the vines are planted in pebbles, clay, and limestone soils. This year the Chante Pierre is light & fresh, showing red fruit aromas and notes of spices and Mediterranean herbs. It tastes good as well!

Now that it is subject to...
