Grenat, Vin Doux Naturel, Mas des Caprices - 2022

Item # 38742 500 mL

A red dessert wine made from the Grenache grape. The wine was fortified early on during fermentation leaving residual sugar for the final wine. What's so intriguing about this is the tannic structure blended with the berried fruit and acidity. A formidable match for a plate of aged cheeses. Drink lightly chilled.

This amazing Grenache is freeze dried raspberries and chocolate dipped strawberries. It's sweet, but not cloying. A beautiful wine on its own, but an amazing partner for rich chocolate and fruit desserts.
