This is a red wine made from the Rossese grape variety. Alta Via is a Ligurian winery founded in 2002 by Gianni Arlotti and savino Formentini. They are located in Dolceacqua at 400 meters in elevation above the Nervia valley. The precarious terraces are made of standstone and clay and benefit from the coastal sun mixed with the cold winds from the maritime Alps.
