From the North Fork's Mudd West Vineyard, this Petit Verdot is more commonly found in its homeland of Bordeaux. Thick-skinned and small, it is often used in red blends, but the winery has found it excels on Long Island. Fermented and aged for 21 months in neutral oak barrels, this medium-bodied, dark, black-fruited, and spicy dry red will pair well with roast duck.
