This estate, founded in 1540 by a former King of France, and currently already in its 10th generation under the stewardship of the de Luze family. Throughout all these centuries it has always been known for both its quality and complexity - without exception.
We selected this expression after tasting out of cask in the family's cellar on the ancient grounds with current scion Stefan de Luze. It showcases the brilliance of flavors and structure, even at this 'young' age, that continue to make this one of the most important addresses in all of brandy.
Poached pears, summer apricots, flamed orange peels, fresh roasted coffee beans lead to a dry, structured and focused palate with notes of red apple, black pepper, walnuts, creme caramel, Earl Grey tea and candied ginger. Bottled at a natural cask strength. Additive free. 100% Baco.
