This, along with the other release in this pair, is easily one of the greatest mezcals we have tasted all year. It exceeded even our own high expectations. All the plants for this micro 100 liter batch were wild harvested and cooked slowly and masterfully in the palenque's earthen oven for an incredible 21 days! Milled by hand, naturall fermented and distilled by Maestro Alberto's wife Rosa in traditional clay pot stills. An absolute explosion of flavors centered around a core of ripe, sweet tropical fruit and honey wrapped up in an elegant full bodied texture. Outstanding
