Part of the distiller's 'Select Cask,' limited edtion series - this whisky was only finished in premium oloroso sherry casks and it has already taken on the deep colors and flavors of the sherry wood to great effect. It follows that the whisky is big and unabashed on the palate with notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, orange preserves, assam tea, earthy nuts, and a salted toffee lingering finish.

This style of Sherry is dark, rich, full-bodied and complex. Oloroso Sherries mature in cask for up to 25 years with no flor whatsoever, and are thus directly exposed to oxygen over a long period of time.
