One of the most impressive projects across the increasing crowded landscape of American Amaro. But this isn't simply some American interpretation of an Italian liqueur. All of their bitters are also deeply rooted in the history of making medicinal elixirs and bitters based on Appalachian folklore taught to them by their elders. All the grains used as a base are heirloom and local and only responsibly harvested organic botanicals are used, many of which they forage themselves from the mountains surrounding Asheville. A beautiful, top shelf, vivid and invigorating minty fernet.
