Amaro Pop! Grapefruit & Flora Canned Cocktail

Item # 48157 355 mL

A fantastic effort from this up and coming distiller located in the hills of Asheville, North Carolina. The cocktail is really vibrant – like a great gin and tonic with an extra bitter twist. The elevated abv. gets it to the next level flavor wise and the bubbles bring everything together. The folks at Eda Rhyne are steeped in the ancient folkways of this part of Appalachia, and are dedicated to re-interpretting the traditional uses of local medicinal plants for a new generation.

Staff Pick Notes

For lovers of balanced but bitter cocktails look no further than this RTD option. My love for Amari is well known, and this is something that just further bolsters my enjoyment of a style of liqueur that is versatile beyond what many expect. The bright citrus and pithy tones of the grapefruit are perfectly balanced with the roundness of local wildflower honey and Amaro Flora with notes of elderflower and cinnamon to bring the whole thing together. This feels like the perfect drink to celebrate the start of spring, but also is enjoyable at any time of year. Fresh, bright, and quaffable you're sure to have a hard timing stopping at just one.
