A dry sparkling rosé blend of Delaware and Steuben that saw a range of skin contact times. The final blend was made with restrained tannic structure in mind, and bottled with 12g/L of residual sugar to make this pétnat in style. Pair with chicken and garlic chive stir fry.

Kasuomi Fujimaki started The Grape Republic in 2015 with the intention of establishing a natural wine tradition in Japan. The Rosa Frizzante is composed of a blend of modern hybrid grapes as Delaware, Steuben 2020, and Muscat Bailey A. The blend produces a surprising profile that can only be described as grapey. You may be reminded of your childhood grape soda (ah the good old days). A squeeze lemon-lime and raspberries complement the profile. A sense of flinty, pencil lead minerality appears midpalate. As with most Fujimaki’s wines, a low ABV makes it appropriate for a long hangout with friends.
