Ribolla Gialla is an indigenous Friulian variety. This is planted on more limestone-based soils in the Collio giving structure alongside acacia and herbed aromas. The small DOC of Collio extends to the province of Gorizia, on the Slovenian border. Ronco ("hill") Blanchis is located high up on an exposed range that benefits from sunlight throughout the day. Pair with gnocchi.
