Closing your eyes and taking in the waves of aromas that rise to the surface of your glass, you'd be forgiven for mistaking this for a perfectly aged Bourbon. But what also clearly puts this apart from American Whiskey is the seamless, supple and elegant profile, typical of great brandies. We tasted this single cask at the domaine last spring and found it a perfect sweet spot of primary and mature complexity with notes that remind us of juicy summer stone fruits, creme brulee, coconut cake, almond butter, fresh roasted coffee beans and cracked spices. Bottled at cask strength. Zero additives ever. Very limited.
