Even at his young age, Emanuel Ramos is already and undoubtedly considered and iconic mezcalero, up there with the living legends of the recent generation including his father, Victor Ramos. This may be the easiest selection we've had to make to date for any Astor Exclusive. Not only does it come with the Ramos pedigree, but a batch of Puntas, the most prized run of each batches distillation typically reserved for the producer's own family consumption, coupled with the already hedonistic beauty of Tepextate was a must have. The mezcal is profound. Aromatic with an abundance of tropical fruits, raw honey, white pepper, summer cucumbers and an almost sweet minerality. Only 50 precious liters were produced for this batch.
