Staff Pick Notes

Don't be intimidated by the name (it's pronounced pretty much how you think it is), this wine is easier to get into than Woodstock '99 after the fences were torn down. Medium-bodied with bright red fruit flavors and just a hint of spice, it has enough character to stand up to richer foods but light enough to be enjoyed on its own (it would take nicely to a light chill). If you like a lighter style of red Burgundy or a cool-climate Northern Italian red, be adventurous and give it a shot. You just might even learn to pronounce the name.
