Château Arton Single Cask Armagnac - 2010

The word is getting out about this domaine and the special things that are happening here, and not just in its cellars. The place itself is ancient and the family that resides there have been there for many generations. This is a single estate product and the care being tended in the vineyards with a focus on the uniqueness of their terroir, the ways it expresses itself differently with each vintage and the more expressive it has become through the application of biodynamic viticulture all make their mark on the finished brandy in profound ways. After a slow and careful distillation of the 2010 harvest, the brandies for this singla cask were aged for ten years and bottled to taste from only 3 casks that were deemed to be at a perfect balance of complexity. After tasting for ourselves, we couldn't find a single thing to disagree with.
