Item # 44152 750 mL

Made from Pinot Noir that was destemmed then briefly macerated and put into Burgundy barrel. The Chardonnay was also fermented in barrel and the wines were fermented sponatneously and aged in barrel. It was in the 20th century that Louis Tarlant helped establish the Champagne AOC in 1927. The Tarlant family has cultivated grapes in the region since 1687 and settled in the village of Oeilly in 1780. In addition to this legacy, Tarlant was one of the first independent states who refused to sell their grapes to the big houses in the first half of the 20th century.
