An extraordinary rosé that makes you think of summer: the sights, the sounds and heat. This is a mouthful of a wine made from the red Nerello Mascalese grape that you typically hear about from Mount Etnan reds. These grapes though come from the mainland and were just briefly macerated on the skins rendering a deep pink color and fruit that's robust on the palate.

Staff Pick Notes

I wrote a recommendation for this wine when it first came to us in 2020, but this new vintage deserves an update. The 2021 vintage shows a wonderful mineral quality that was only hinted at in the previous vintage. The balance of fruit and acid, mineral and body is beautiful, making this a great wine and, in my opinion, the best wine in the store under $10.
