The Friulano grape is native to the Collio area of Friuli in the north of Italy. The Raccaro family has a small, 7 ha farm. This bottling comes from the single vineyard plot, Rolat, where soils is clay and sedimentary in nature. This bottle is pale yellow in color, fresh and lively. The fruit is pressed overnight and then fermented with ambient yeasts for over a month. Unoaked.

Cormons, Collio Friuli, Italy In 1928 Dario Raccaro’s grandfather, bought the farm at the foothills of Monte Quarin, just outside of Cormons, near the small church of S.Maria.
