Arette Blanco Tequila

Item # 35472 1 L

Made at the historic, "El Llano," distillery in the cradle of the Tequila producing region, Arette is one of the few brands still made in the town of Tequila itself, just outside of the regional capital of Guadalajara. Produced by the Orendain brothers, themselves descendants of one of the country's most acclaimed and long lived tequila families the Arette tequilas are known for their exceptional quality and nearly unbeatable value. The spirit is impeccable with a polish that typically eludes this price point with notes that include lime zest, banana peel, white pepper, dried oregano, avocado leaf and minerals. This is top shelf stuff at bargain pricing. Deserves a spot on every bar.

Staff Pick Notes

For me, a margarita needs no season, weather, or particular reason to be enjoyed. It is the first cocktail I learned how to make and my recipe and proportions have changed quite a bit over the years. My current version is my favorite yet: 2oz. Arette Blanco tequila, 1oz. Nowhere Triple Sec Liqueur from Matchbook Distilling Co., and 1oz. fresh lime juice shaken, poured over ice, and topped with a bit of lime seltzer for fun texture. Having a great, affordable tequila is a must for me and for that reason I rarely stray from Arette Blanco. It’s a great price for a smooth spirit that performs admirably in a cocktail!
