The flagship at the Giuseppe Mascarello estate and the family, six hectare monopole as of the early 1990s. Beautifully situated as the vineyard faces southwest, in the town of Castiglione Falletto. Renowned for its great terroir, much of which is also planted to one of the finest strains of Nebbiolo, the Michét variety, which was first introduced into the vineyard by Maurizio Mascarello in 1921.

Piedmont

The most famous grape in Piedmont is the noble Nebbiolo, which makes the long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco.
