Quinta do Crasto LBV

Quinta do Crasto LBV - 2015

Item # 29880 750 mL

Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) port wine is made from a single vintage that is bottled after 4 to 6 years of maturation in large (9000L) Portuguese oak vats. The 60 year old vines are planted in schist soils at high elevations reaching up to 450 m. Made from many local grape varieties that were hand-harvested before transferring to cement vats to be foot trodden in the centuries old fashion that proves to still work better than any other technique for pressing. A ruby port you can enjoy immediately.
