The Authentique offers a no-nonsense, easy drinking pear cider with delicate bubbles and slightly sweeter finish that pairs nicely with fresh goat cheese. In 1992,Eric Bordelet, previously sommelier at Arpege Alain Passard's Restaurant in Paris, took over the production of this family property in Normandy. His ciders are always delicate and elegant.

If you are looking for a beverage with low alcohol content and nice aromatics that everyone will love, then you should get this bottle. The producer behind the product is Eric Bordelet who used to work as a sommelier in some big name restaurants. Eric used about 15 varieties of pears that are grown organically and biodynamically. This "authentique" pear cider is semi dry, fresh acidity with powerful fruit. Pear compote on the nose and a multitude of pears flavor on the palate, indeed a straight forward poiré with only 4% alcohol at a great price.
