I was recently in the market for a Prosecco that I just wanted to sip on its own and scoured our shelves for an expression that would offer great value for money, while offering pleasant drinkability. I decided on Progettidivini's Prosecco Superiore Brut, and it fit the bill perfectly. There is a persistent and refreshing level of effervescence present on the tongue. This Prosecco possesses a waxy character with notes of melon, peach, nectarine, and green apple. The Conegliano Valdobbiadene designation on the label also signifies that the Glera grapes sourced for this sparkling wine were harvested from a smaller vineyard area, situated in a small hilly zone, which were used to create a more nuanced and complex wine than your standard Prosecco DOC.
