On the nose, this fortified wine exhibits notes of brown sugar, molasses, walnuts, and a touch of roasted lemon. On the palate, wow! An explosion of unexpected freshness and acidity that carries all of the sweeter notes through to a long finish of toasted almonds and more citrus notes.
