Voirin-Jumel "555" Grand Cru Brut - NV

Item # 16244 750 mL

A full-bodied Champagne composed of 100% Chardonnay presenting toasted brioche, candied, spiced fruit on the nose and palate. Extended contact with lees and barrels has left a degree of complexity rivaled by few. An ideal choice for truffles, foie gras and rich appetizers. The Grand Cru vineyards of this small Récoltant-Manipulant are located in and around Cramant in the Côte des Blancs. This wine was quaintly named for the winery's address at 555 rue de la Libération.
