Staff Pick Notes

Alsace will always hold a special place in my heart as the region that made me a lover of white wine. In an appellation known for aromatic and complex wine that shines with minerality, Domaine Albert Mann is no exception. This award-winning winemaking team (Winemaker of the Year 2012) is one hundred percent devoted to natural winemaking. All grapes are grown biodynamically, hand-harvested and fermented using only naturally occurring yeast. This low intervention approach allows the pure terroir and joy of Alsace to shine. Juicy and vibrant, this wine has beautiful aromatics of citrus, apple and Bartlett pears. Pear with a creamy decadent goat cheese for a sublime evening.

Yet, as evidenced by the persistece of a dialect of Upper German in the region even today, Alsace's ties to Germany...
