Staff Pick Notes

This Zinfandel captivates with a complex fusion of blackberry, black currant, plum, cherry, and baking spice aromas. Its lively palate showcases succulent fruit interwoven with supple tannins, persisting from mid-palate to a gratifying finish. Crafted from a selection of more than 150 individual lots from vineyards across Sonoma County, fermented separately and masterfully blended, the Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel is bright, richly fruited, bold, and always balanced. Its intricate depth perfectly complements indulgent dishes like hearty short ribs, velvety pork belly, or luxurious gnocchi gorgonzola. At Seghesio Family Vineyards, the key word is family. Their family story starts in 1895, when an Italian immigrant and his wife planted Zinfandel vines deep in Sonoma soil and set down roots that, five generations later, are still growing strong

Dry and well-drained terroirs are also preferable for Zinfandel, as its bunches are...
