When we think of Penedes, we often anticipate Cava in the glass. Just a few miles down the Mediterranean coastline from Barcelona, the Gramona family has been making wine for over 100 years, with vineyards that have been a quality reference in Penedes for decades. This unique white blended from Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc comes from high altitude certified organic vineyards that are up to 50 years old. Limestone soils promote a stony minerality and lack of oak treatment retains bright acidity and delicate aromatics. A crisp and refreshing white with notes of orange blossom, apricot, peach, and orange marmalade - such a floral and alluring wine is fittingly named Gessami, which in English means Jasmine.
