I can't imagine overlooking such an original landmark as Bombay's London Dry Gin. Yes, You will find Sapphire more readily at your local bar, though... I always crave the original as it has an unmatched clean finish and versatile capacity for cocktail making. Some contemporary gins have become increasingly over-complicated in their botanical recipes, making for a less satisfying, crisp martini base for example. Bombay dry uses a limit of 8 ingredients which were first formulated in 1761, and hasn't changed since then. If it's not broken, please don't fix it!
