Bright, delicate fruit, and a tightly-wound structure, this is a balanced, cool Chardonnay, reflecting the purity of style of Margaret River's cooler region. Savory elements knit together with pineapple and green apples, entwined with apricots, biscuits, and light almonds and cloves. A succulent wine, versatile for fish or fowl, in pretty sauces laced with fresh herbs. This Chardonnay matured in carefully-selected French oak (only a portion of it new) and underwent a battonage program that was tailored for each parcel over nine months of maturation, adding texture and depth.
