The Niepoort 20 Year Tawny is a Port made for true Tawny lovers, showing a deep amber color with golden highlights from its long aging in oak casks. The nose is rich and complex, with notes of dried fruits, apricot, fig, hazelnuts, caramel, toffee, and subtle spices, all beautifully integrated with the oak. On the palate, it is smooth, elegant, and perfectly balanced between sweetness and freshness. Flavors of dried fruit, caramel, orange zest, and a gentle oxidative complexity lead to a long, harmonious, and persistent finish. A mature Tawny that perfectly expresses elegance, balance, and depth, and stands as a benchmark among 20 Year Old Ports. I love it!
