Staff Pick Notes

Looking to lay down some bottles for your wine collection? This baby is an ideal candidate. It’s currently lean and racy with taut energy, lemon/lime aromas, under-ripe stone fruits and tart green apple on the palate. It shows the classic hallmarks of Riesling from Eden Valley, a cool-climate region with elevations between 1200-1600 feet above sea level. You can bet that its flinty austerity will soften with time and the subtle fruit and floral notes will blossom into something unique and spectacular. Yes, this is a pricey Riesling.
