Like our first D18 single cask release, this follow up utilizies the same artisan production methods that coax out extra levels of expressive aromas and flavors that all add up to one of the most decadent and distinctive tequilas you can get your hands on - for a limited time. We are thrilled to also be able to offer it at the best value yet for any Cazcanes anejo expression giving you even more reason to pick up more than one while they last. Rich agave notes of ripe banana, raw honey, passion fruit, sweet almond and spice cake dovetailing perfectly with the richer vanilla, caramel and coconut notes from the extended time in oak.

Put aside thoughts of the ever elusive Fortaleza or additive riddled Casamigos and step into the world of Cazcanes, who we have been lucky enough to partner with for ANOTHER single barrel, available only at Astor! Cazcanes, founded by two LA tequila aficionados, partnered with a family of multi generational agave masters (the distillery behind NOM 1614) to highlight tradition and quality through authentic sustainable production. Our D18 barrel uses 100% organic (rare) and fully mature (even rarer) agave, slow cooked and even slower fermented with natural yeast in open air (rarest). Aged 6 months longer than required for Anejo (18 months total) and bottled at 100 proof, this bottle should get the hype that these celeb brands are so used to. Gorgeous notes of dark caramel, baking spices, and a long smooth finish - truly a masterpiece.
