Kanosuke Hioki Ghost Series #23C Single Malt Japanese Whisky

Single cask blended Japanese whisky distilled at Kanosuke Distillery and Hioki Distillery in Kagoshima, Japan, from single barrel selections of the 23rd release of Stefan van Eycken’s Ghost Series. Aged over 3 years in a combination of new American oak puncheons and ex–bourbon barrels; finished for 10 months in an umeshu cask. This has aromas of baked apricot, sweet pastry, cherry compote, and brown sugar transition to an expansive palate of bright red fruit, maple, and pancake with a lush, citrusy finish.
