Inzolia "Roceno", Sibiliana - 2025

750 mL
Item # 53266

Inzolia is a little-known white grape from Sicily that is also known as Ansonica. This is a crisp and dry yet fragrant white wine. A house wine, if you will, the type to pair with arancini or a white pizza.

Staff Pick Notes

A dear friend once hosted a wine tasting at his home, and one of the highlights of the night was a guest showing up late, but presenting the host with a bottle of wine. Upon inspection of the back label, the producer described their own wine as a "value bottle," which we all thought was humble yet hilarious. This Sicilian white made from the Inzolia grape is definitely giving value bottle at under $10, but don't be too quick to assume it's just an ingredient. Although it did great as a cooking wine in my risotto, this wine boasts saline minerality, herbaceous aromatics, and bright citrus - all of my favorite things about Sicilian white wines.
