Thomas Bachelder's Gamays are considered the benchmark for Niagara Gamay.This Gamay Noir is planted on clay limestone soils with a bright fruit driven character with notes of juicy raspberry and tart sour cherry. This area of Ontario grows the most gamay after beaujolais, though they are a little less earthy they have great structure and refreshing acidity to balance the lively fruit notes. Whole cluster fermentations with native yeast showcase the Niagara Escarpment terroir. Bienvenue Canada!! A bientot!!
