From a single vineyard plot from the Certified Organic producer, this wine is a rare find. Malvasia is perhaps best known for wines hailing from the Friuli in Northern Italy. Malvasia has a rich history throughout the Mediterranean region from Crete to Portugal where it is one of the main grapes, called Malmsey, in the production of Madeira.
