Laterrade Astor Select Domaine du Priou Bas-Armagnac - 1995

A 'young' selection from this ultra exclusive estate - we don't know whether to laugh or cry sometimes when we release how much more of a steal world class Armganac is compared to other spirits. Ultimately we choose to drink it and not complain. Made from organic grown estate Baco grapes and aged in a single new Gascon Oak oak from the local forest by the domaine for 29yrs. We tasted this out of cask with Vincent Laterrade himself and agreed that the notes of chocolate covered cherries, vanilla frosted Guinness cake, Masala Chai tea and dry, focused gentle, long spice simmered finish had to be bottled immediately. Very limited.
