James E. Pepper Astor Select Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Our first and long anticipated single barrel from this rising producer. Made from a mash of 80% corn, 8% malted rye and 12% malted barley! Distilled in Fall 2019, aged for over 4.5yrs and bottled at a natural barrel proof in Spring of 2024. Oily, palate coating and smooth the whiskey shows equal parts ripe orchard fruits, fresh autumn pies, brown sugar and salted butter along with deep resonating bold spice flavors. You simply cannot find another Bourbon of this age with this amount of flavor and complexity.
