One of the most promising new brands of the past couple years in American Whiskey, Frank August seems to be only be trading in top shelf liquids according to everything we've tasted at least. The Case Study series is also one of the most innovative for for any American Whiskey brand. For Case Study 04 - very few of the best barrels of Bourbon and Rye were then double barreled into new casks for a secondary maturation and then finally blended together at a natural batch strength of 47.5% abv. Less than 1,000 bottles total for this super interesting, bold flavored whiskey.
