This whisky has everything. We've come to expect that from this jewel of a distillery nestled in the very south of Japan in the shadow of the active volcano, Sakura Jima. The old school approach to their craft, including a judicious amount of peat, the unique climate where they are based, and their obsessive attention to detail add up to whiskies that transcend there mere technical details. This is some of the highest caliber single malt in bottle at the moment complete with the stunning and thoughtful artwork and packaging that goes into this special edition series. Very limited.
