Master Distiller Stephen Beam coaxes some magic out of what on the surface seems like a relatively straightforward whiskey. Starting with just two lots of bourbon - one aged 7yrs the other 17yrs! - they both undergo a double finish in French Brandy Casks and Ex-Cognac French Oak. The aromas are bright with pear, panela sugar, ripe apple, and leather and the flavors rich with basswood honey, ripe stone fruits, and citrus, caramel and vanilla. What more could you ask for ?
