Hidden Barn 6yr Organic Wheated Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Hidden Barn is a name to get familiar with quickly if you haven't already crossed paths with it. The Neeley Family Distillery is 11 generations deep and counting and the revival of their distillery in Sparta, Kentucky and other rare releases are making waves. This is perhaps the most anomalous of their current offerings, but in the best way. Blown away by not only the quality of this unique batch distilled in Michigan, they were even more impressed by its wheated mash made entirely from organic grains. Only 9 barrels were blended for this one off, each aged a minimum of 6yrs. Bottled at a natural batch proof of 53.1% abv. Layered, lithe and supremely elegant (we know - not your typical run of the mill bourbon) with notes of honeycake, maple syrup, warm buttered pancakes, ripe ctirus fruits and warming, gentle spices. Limited.
