Staff Pick Notes

Having a get together and need a fun, fresh, joyful bubbly? Look no further than the Mosel, Germany and the historic Immich Batterieberg winery. Incredible how this hip wine can come from an estate that is over 1000 years old! Flavors of limey citrus, pears, and a touch of white tea mingle on the palate. The acidity is mouth watering and palate cleansing. Great to know that Gernot Kollman (owner/vigneron since 2006) farms organically and practices natural wine making in the cellar. Just as they did for centuries. Always great with a cream enriched washed rind cheese like Red Hawk.
