Rare Character Limited Release Batch No. 01 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

If you are not familiar with this brand yet, as a whiskey lover, you will be very very soon. Founded by Pablo Moix, esteemed American Whiskey collector and connoisseur, with former speakeasy haunts to house his collection on his resume, the motivation with Rare Character is to bottle hyper unique whiskies that capture a level of quality the exceeds the majority of offerings out there. For their first wider, but still extremely limtied release, Batch 01 is a blend composed primarily of 5.5-15yr old wheated Kentucky bourbons with some straight rye bourbon casks mixed in. The impressive touch on the blending gives the whiskey a verticality and range of flavors that is indeed quite rare in American Whiskey. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.5% with a total output of 1,320 bottles for the batch.
