We have been major fans of this vintage label for years but the amount of bottles we've been able to find have been few and far between. This circa 1970s bottle of what was perhaps their most prized expression, a mountain amaro from this special corner of Piedmont, is in excellent condition especially thanks to its higher bottling abv. of 31%. The most famous grape in Piedmont is the noble Nebbiolo, which makes the long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco.
