This year's annual Astor barrel selection builds on last year's killer Camp Nelson bottling. Just like last year, we blind tasted this in the rickhouse with current generation Bruce Russell, not wanting to be influenced by the source or age of the whiskey. For the second year in a row we landed on Camp Nelson, in this case Warehouse E 4th Floor, barrel #23-0591. Originally distilled on December 6th 2014 and aged for 9yrs prior to bottling on June 10th 2024.
